About this event
Halloween Swingthing has been running in Southern California for almost 30 years. John Wheaton created this event always having a special love of Halloween. Along with his many other events, he provided family-friendly dance conventions multiple times a year. Over the course of his life, he ran 80 dance events, more than anyone in the Swing dance world. As children, Jordan and Tatiana attended this event, competing in junior Jack and Jill, participating in the costume contest, and later teaching professionally at HST.
