Active Scene is a free public directory of social-dance classes, socials and festivals in the UK. We assemble event information from publicly available sources (organisers' own websites and social media) and curate it. We are not the organisers of the events listed.

We do our best to keep listings accurate and up to date, but things change: classes get cancelled, venues move, prices shift. Always check directly with the organiser before travelling. If you spot something wrong, email us via the link in the footer and we'll fix it as soon as we can.

Active Scene is provided "as is". We accept no liability for any cost, loss or inconvenience arising from inaccurate listings or from attending the events listed.

We list organiser names, contact details (email / phone / social handles) and event information that we find published on your own public websites, social pages or other open sources. If you would rather not appear on Active Scene, or if any detail is wrong, email us via the footer and we'll remove or correct it.

You retain the copyright in any images we display from your public sources; we display them only as identifying thumbnails and remove them on request.

You agree not to:

• scrape the site for commercial republication;
• attempt to access the admin area or any account that isn't yours;
• submit deliberately false or misleading event information via the "Suggest a source" form;
• use Active Scene to harass, defame, or otherwise target individuals, organisers or venues.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the cookie banner the next time you visit.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
