Brazilian zouk is the contemporary, flowing partner dance that grew out of lambada — soft body motion, head movements, slow songs. The UK scene is small but growing fast, mostly in London, Manchester, Brighton and Bristol. Workshops are the main entry point; full festivals are still rare and worth travelling for.
