Show your schedule on your website
Put your live Active Scene schedule on your own site with one snippet — always up to date, styled to match, and free. Manage your events here once; they show on your website, your socials and the directory.
- What is the schedule embed?
A small block you paste onto your own website that shows your upcoming Active Scene classes and events — always current. You manage your events here once, and they appear on your site, your share links and the Active Scene directory at the same time. It's the “manage once, show everywhere” half of your page.
- Where do I get my snippet?
In your portal share kit — the “Add your schedule to your website” panel. It shows a live preview and a copy-paste <iframe> snippet. Free for every claimed, self-managed organiser.
- How do I add it to my site?
Copy the snippet and paste it wherever you want the schedule to appear — it's standard HTML, so it works anywhere you can add an embed or “custom HTML” block:
- WordPress— a “Custom HTML” block.
- Wix — Add → Embed → Embed HTML.
- Squarespace — a Code block.
- Webflow / Carrd / a plain page — an Embed / HTML element.
- Can I match it to my brand?
Yes — the snippet takes optional settings you can tweak in the share kit or by hand:
- accent — your brand colour for dates and buttons.
- theme — light, dark, or transparent (to sit on your own background).
- logo — show or hide your logo at the top.
The defaults look good with no changes needed.
- How do dancers book from it?
Each event links to its Active Scene event page, where dancers get the full details and book (if you sell tickets or passes). The embed itself is a clean listing — the booking always happens on the event page, so nothing changes about how you get paid.
- Does it stay up to date?
Yes. It always shows your current upcoming events — add, edit or cancel an event here and the embed reflects it automatically. There's nothing to re-paste or re-publish.
- What does it cost?
Nothing — the embed is free for claimed organisers. Listing your events is always free; the only fee is the flat online-selling fee covered in Payments & fees, and it applies only when a dancer books online.
- Can you set it up for me?
Not comfortable adding code to your site? Our team can set it up for you for a small fee — just email support@activescene.org. The embed itself stays free and self-serve; this is just a helping hand if you'd rather not touch the code.
- Where can I learn more?
See the schedule embed page for the full tour — a live demo, branding options and pricing — or grab your snippet from the share kit.
